DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE CHAIR
Melinda Wedzina is Chief Operations Officer at MRCI and oversees teams across the south Metro and southern Minnesota that provide employment and community integration programming to people with disabilities.
Melinda believes communities are healthier and more vibrant when they have a strong nonprofit presence. In support of the arts and the future of classical music in greater Mankato, she is excited to share her experience as a nonprofit leader at MRCI, as founder of Feeding Our Communities Partners (BackPack Food Program), and as a previous board member of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits.
Melinda holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science in Strategic Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ball State University.
Her favorite piece performed by the Mankato Symphony Orchestra thus far is Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 in E Minor, Op. 27.
